One of the most important debuts set to happen at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show will be coming from the likes of Nissan's premium brand, Infiniti.
And while there's been quite a bit of quibbling over the new nomenclature change and naming structure, I could care less.
That's because the all-new G is coming.
This is the vehicle that once took out the BMW 3-Series and was the car to beat for a period of time. When it first appeared as the G35 it wasn't all that impressive; however, when the marque stepped it up notch with the G37, it became a fierce competitor.
Having worn out its welcome though, it's been needing a serious update for quite some time. While the introduction of the IPL coupe and convertible bought it some time, it just hasn't been at the top of the leaderboard in a couple of years.
Now the first spy photographs have shown a G that seems to inherit some design cues from the big daddy Infiniti M, which drew some traits from the Essence Concept.
That said, the first rendering is in and we want to know what you think of this rough interpretation...
If the next-gen G looks anything like this, will you be pleasantly surprised or disappointed?
