In recent weeks we've seen a significant uptick in Porsche 911 Targa news. Well, there's a good reason for this: the car is set to debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) in only a couple weeks.

As I've disclosed in just about every other 911 Targa story, this is particularly of interest to Agent 001 and myself. We LOVE Targas!

Recently we posted images of what appeared to be leaked patent images and then this week we followed up with the latest spy shots of a 911 Targa development car that essentially was ready for the road minus the black tape. It was clearly sporting the Targa script and everything appears to be squared away.

BUT, because the tape was still present, we'd imagine some folks would find it hard to properly imagine the real deal. Thankfully, some excellent Photoshop artists can eliminate that issue from the equation.

Making waves in recent weeks with its magnificent designs is a website called X-Tomi.

This is their take on the all-new Porsche 911 (991) Targa that will debut at the North American International Auto Show.

Looks spot on to me.
