YES! greatest thing to have possibly happened this season. Cannot wait to watch the legend in action once again. Prayers go out to Massa and his family, may he have a speedy recovery.

I can not express enough the joy and elation I felt upon hearing this news. This is the most exciting thing to happen this year for sure. Young drivers like Hamilton, Piquet Jr and others are in for quite an education! Beware of the Schumacher chop at turn one! LOL Living up to his own reputation and filling his own shoes is going to be quite a challenge for him however. The world is going to be expecting a lot. If anyone is up for the challenge, he is. God speed Michael!

This is the best possible news and the most logical choice for Ferrari. Obviously, I would have preferred Schumi to return under better circumstances, but noting the positive long-term prognosis for Felipe Massa there is a cause for joy as the Master is returning. I cannot wait to see the turn out at the Italian GP. Michael will be able give direct feedback about the F60 and further aid in the development for next year’s challenger. Michael’s return will also have a positive monetary impact on the remaining seven races on the F1 calendar.

Big F1 fan here. I'm going to the next race and am even more excited. even though he is on our premier rival it will be fun to watch. I hope he performs well, doesn't win, and doesn't hurt himself. Let's be honest, he test drives and develops, but to be away for that long, at his age, and to come back to such a reactionary and stressing sport, it could be dangerous. Go Mercedes-Benz!!

This reminds me 1994, when Nigel Mansell came back at Williams to replace David Coulthard in Ayrton Senna's seat. He manage to win the last race at Adelaide and sign at McLaren for 1995, which as been a catastrophic season for him, he step out after a few races only.

Hope Michael will do great and step out when Felipe will be ok to take back his seat.

What a surprising sequence of events..Massa in an almost fatal crash, Hamilton wins after a disaster start to the season, BMW quit, and Schumi comes back...Talk about WOW..

when he was racing back 1996-2006 i never liked him, i wa big fan of Mika and kimi, but the day at Monza when he announced his las year, i realized how much i missed him... can't wait to see him...
