Formula One motor racing legend Michael Schumacher intends to come out of retirement to replace injured driver Felipe Massa, he said Wednesday.



Schumacher, who won seven Formula One championships before retiring, will drive in place of Massa, who was badly injured in a freak accident on Saturday.

“I will prepare myself to take the place of Felipe,” Schumacher said in a statement obtained by CNN.

Massa and Schumacher both race for the same team, Ferrari....
