Revealing spy shots of Mercedes SL AMG Black Series
Mercedes-Benz and its in-house tuner AMG recently revealed its updated SL fleet but one car, the pinnacle of the SL range, remains unseen.

The new model is the upcoming SL Black Series from AMG, a super-sports version of the SL that could potentially upset the SLR supercar in the performance stakes.

Heavily camouflaged prototypes have been spotted testing in Germany, and these latest spy images of the test-mules are the most revealing yet. Read Article

Is it the flared side fenders / wheel wells or does that have a wider stance than the normal SL? Makes it look more aggressive.

The front end is butt ugly on the new SL i'm afraid, doesn't fit in with the rest of the car. Looks dated these days...

I miss the old version. That new SL looks like some cartoon character.

I really hope Mercedes is not going to destroy the design of CL and S class like they did SL.

Last night I saw a 2009 SL63 drag race a 2009 SL65 on the 5 freeway. The 65 won obviously.
