Rolls Royce RR4 will get X6's 4.4L V8 twin-turbo
So we finally saw the first official sketched of the upcoming baby-Phantom, otherwise known as the RR4. So what’s the point of this new model and what can we expect?

Well Rolls-Royce currently sells fewer than 1,000 Phantom models a year. With pricing of the RR4 to be right above $225,000, sales are expected increase well over a 1,000 units a year.

The Rolls-Royce RR4 will share platform with upcoming next-generation 2009 BMW 7-Series. Even though the platform will help cut some of the pounds, the RR4 is still expected to weigh well... Read Article

Honestly, From The 2nd Sketch, This Looks Far Too Much Like The (Gorgeous) Cadillac Sixteen Concept... Especial The Design Of The C-Pillar Area (Which Looks To Be An Exact Copy).

I agree - they are certainly similar. But I remember a sketch in Road & Track, AGES AGO, when I was a kid, maybe like in the late 70s or early 80s, when (I think this is his name) Mark Stehrenberger did the renderings, that actually looked a lot like this. And it reminded me of a Cadillac back then too. It was remarkably modern looking, and for some reason I never forgot that sketch.
