You know what they say, right? "Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it."
This may apply in this situation.
To be straightforward, we're Porsche guys. While we drive a lot of metal, we've always found ourselves attracted to the 911, the six-cylinder purr and the futuristic interiors — of late — from Stuttgart. In the past 12 months though, it's become very clear that the Cayman is the Porsche to have if you really want to have the best handling Porsche that you can drive flat out everywhere. It's not even up for discussion.
Last generation, I adored the Cayman R. It was just a bit more hardcore. Of course we all said, what would happen if Porsche just unleashed its capabilities in this vehicle instead of keeping the 911 as a halo product. Well, it looks like it's finally going to happen.
That's because there's been rumors swirling of a Cayman GT4.
And, I hesitate to say rumors, because now photos of the all-new P car have surfaced. If I am honest, they're stunning shots. In the latest collection there are some absolutely badass details.
Check out the GT3-inspired front valence, the lowered stance, large diameter wheel and tire setup, big brake kit, MASSIVE rear spoiler. It's pretty hard NOT to love what we're seeing so far.
