The all-new Porsche 911 (991) debuted as a 2012 model year product. To be straightforward, when we drove it, we thought it was killer. 001 and I agreed, the 991 is pretty tough competition in its respective price range. Just make sure you get the Sport Exhaust option. ;)

But, if the latest spy shots are any indication, Porsche may be readying up a facelift. It seems a bit soon in the cycle — if I am honest — because the Turbo/Turbo S just made its debut as did the GT3 model. With pressure mounting from the likes of the Chevrolet Corvette, Jaguar F-Type Coupe and soon-to-be-seen Mercedes-Benz SLC, perhaps Porsche elected to give its wares a bit of a boost.

From the latest spy pics, it's pretty tough to see exactly what the automaker has done to the cars; however, they are camouflaged up strategically. I wouldn't expect anything drastic.
