So when the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe made its big debut, many people balked. There's good reason for this: it looked like a BMW X6 rip-off.

It doesn't appear that the company is backing down from its sloping roofed sport-utility vehicles, either. That's because snapped for the very first time is the GLC-Class COUPE.

Yes, you read that correctly.

While the all-new GLC has made quite a bit of noise given how damn sharp its design is, it looks like Mercedes is going to flush that down the toilet with the coupe variant.

That's because, like the X4, it too will boast a sloping roof that may or may not be integrated rather clumsily into its body. While we're only seeing this for the first time, the spy shots are rather...interesting?
