Honda sells a lot of cars. I am going to rewrite that because I think it bears repeating. Honda sells a lot of cars. In its product portfolio, the third best-selling product is the CR-V, which is a compact sport-utility vehicle.

Though it's been out for what feels like eons, it's never been particularly enticing to me. And that's oh-kay, as I am not its target demographic; however, the latest iteration actually looks attractive and not retarded as, in my opinion, the third-generation CR-V did.

From what I am seeing, it appears it may be getting better looking too as the FIRST images of the refreshed CR-V just popped out on the interwebz. Though it's taped up pretty good, you don't have to have 20/20 vision to notice that the front grille and headlights have been made a bit more aggressive. Given that this grille seems to have that large mouthed opening, plus the wheels have that turbine effect, I wouldn't be surprised if this is actually a hybrid or plug-in hybrid variant spotted testing.

Unfortunately, there's no other shots of this particular CR-V's other side to see if there's another door for electric charging.

...Changes are less dramatic at the rear, and are only likely to include slight alterations to the car's rear bumper and light clusters. As the interior of this model isn't shielded, it's likely to carry over without any changes.

While US versions of the facelifted CR-V are likely to go on sale towards the middle of next year, reports suggest that European versions of the car won't go on sale until several months later...
