Given that the BMW 3-Series sedan has hit the pavement, as you've seen in recent days more spy images of the coupe and other variants are coming into focus. Now that one is down, there's a couple more to go!

Next up are the coupe, convertible and then the legendary M car. While we were happy to bring you spy video of the coupe in Sardinia, now we're focusing in on the drop top, which was spotted with its top down for the first time. This allowed photographers to attempt to snap pics of the interior; however, it was heavily camouflaged.

From what we can take away by spotting little touches on the interior though, it seems as though it will be inspired by -- predictably -- the 3-Series sedan.

Other little tidbits we know for the all-new convertible. It will slightly grow in size but be lighter than the outgoing vehicle. As we've seen BMW's emphasis shift into high gear regarding efficiency, it's a pretty safe bet that we'll see the new 3-Series become more aware of its drinking habit.

The BMW 4 Series Convertible has been spotted testing with its roof down for the first time. The 4 Series name will be used on coupe and convertible versions of the 3 Series, and is due to go on sale in 2013.

The 4 Series Convertible gets the same nose, wheel designs and interior trim as the new 3 Series, but the soft-top model's wheelbase is 50mm longer than the car it replaces, for more space in the back seats. There should be more luggage space too, even with the top down.
