According to a YouTube poster, the all-new Cayman -- that's set to replace the current generation -- was spotted in Stuttgart. That's not too fanciful to believe considering that's Porsche's hometown and all.Though the footage is dark and a bit shaky, it's clear that this is the Cayman replacement from the smaller footprint, centrally mounted exhaust and shape of the taillights. **Note: This prototype is following an all-new "991" 911 cabriolet. The cool thing about this short clip is that you get a good idea of how the new Cayman will sound. Let us know your thoughts below. In addition, we've added a rendering that was done by Wild Speed of how he expects the Boxster-inspired Cayman to look. Since the Boxster and Cayman are so closely related, we've included shots from our extensive 2013 Porsche Boxster Photo Gallery. What say you? Thumbs UP or thumbs DOWN?The brand new barely disguised Porsche Cayman 2013 - 981 series - caught at a district of stuttgart (germany). Enjoy the motor sound and excuse the darkness! :-)2013 Porsche Boxster Photo Gallery Read Article

If that picture of the Cayman is accurate, then it has matured into the 911 killer is was born to be: rear engined, better handling in a package built for two. Now give this car 350+ hp and watch her fly!— MorePower (View Profile)

Where the heck do you get your info? Porsche is the most reliable 1st tier sports car money can buy, and that includes comparisons with the 350Z, GTR and anything Lexus has put out. As a matter of fact, your FIRST oil change for a current Porsche is 20,000 miles. These things are made to be DRIVEN and will run longer between service than any Lambo/Ferrari/R8/etc.Your comments can be reserved for M and AMG, but not the Porsche. You may scoff at the price of parts or the ubiquity of the marque, but you are wrong to imply that it is somehow less reliable than its peers.— quizz (View Profile)

The photoshop is way off. Porsche will not use an identical side intake as the Boxster, and this will be where the design magic happens for the Cayman. — quizz (View Profile)
