Jeez, if I didn't know any better I would say this is like a throwback to the early 20th century with World War II. Jaguar's XFR has never really been given proper respect as cars like the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG typically command most enthusiast's attention. In an effort to change that, it looks like Jaguar's gearing up to take on the Germans with more power and a much more amped up product.
Though it seems like we're consistently saying this as we anticipate a new model, perhaps the XFR-S can turn that around with an increased amount of power and more carbon fiber -- as seen in the XKR-S.
While we ran some shots of this prototype earlier, NEW shots have hit the web that show the vehicle from angles not previously seen.
Word on the street suggests the vehicle will its debut at this November's Los Angeles Auto Show.
