McLaren, the storied, automaker known for the world famous F1 has proven it can build some serious machines with serious power, but how about the low end?

This is supposed to be McLaren's take on fighting against the likes of the Jaguar F-Type, upcoming Mercedes-Benz GT AMG, and even the Porsche 911.
We've seen the P13 mule undergoing testing previously but it didn't look much different from the MP4-12C — in terms of modifications — but now we're seeing some slight adjustments McLaren had to make to the body. Obviously this means that the chassis is different in some way.

A mysterious McLaren MP4-12C has been spotted testing around Europe for the past year. Though it was initially thought the vehicle was being used to develop mild updates for the 12C range, this latest version, seen with a modified wheelbase and extended wheel arches, confirms we’re actually looking at an early test mule for McLaren’s next supercar, an entry-level model currently doing the rounds as the P13.
