The all-new Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is awaiting the launch of an all-new roadster to replace the age-old platform that's currently on the market. Known for being the go-to vehicle for anyone looking for a luxurious drop-top vehicle, Mercedes has been feverishly working on a replacement.
Though we've spotted numerous applications of the standard SL, this is one of the first times we're getting a look at the AMG variant.
If that wasn't special enough, it's patently obvious that this example is sporting -- no pun intended -- the AMG Performance Package. This usually means the vehicle is equipped with performance enhancements that make the motor produce more power, provides a more aggressive wheel and tire set up and provides a larger set of brakes. In this case it appears that the SL has ceramic rotors.
