I remember when the first official shots of the current-gen Mercedes-Benz C-Class dropped. The exterior was striking and mimicked the flagship S-Class, the interior was jaw-dropping and the packaging was compelling.
It's no wonder they've been killing it from a sales perspective. You can't go anywhere in major metropolitan areas without running into a gaggle of Cs.
But, as the competition ramps up the three-pointed star has to up the ante. As noted in my review of the 2017 Audi A4, the C's days of being well ahead of the pack are numbered.
In these all-new spy shots, it's clear the company will be doing a once over on the outside. That means new LED elements in the headlights, a mildly updated front/rear fascias, and we're hoping for some modifications to the interior — like a bigger screen — as well as the powerplants.
