At the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Volkswagen debuted the all-new, production-ready Golf; however, folks may have been a bit more occupied with the near finalized GTI.



Note the key words "near finalized."

While it's painfully obvious what we saw in Paris is pretty close to the real deal, developmental testing is still ongoing.

And regarding the Golf R? From what we see here, it's still heavily camouflaged and is sporting a quad-tipped exhaust a la Audi's S cars.
