Although most folks would likely agree that Subarus are relegated to a life in snowbelts and the New England area, they likely haven't been behind the wheel of one of its more spicy products, like the Impreza WRX and STI.
Having been more accustomed to the marque and the highly modified previous gen Impreza WRX my brother used to drive, as well as one of my best friend's personal 2011 WRX, I have to say they're outstanding autos for a couple of reasons: 1) From the factory they're tremendously powerful, durable and simple machines, and 2) There is a HUGE market for modifications that will make these already quick cars blisteringly fast.
This is why I am pumped to see that the Impreza WRX and STI will make another appearance in the new body style.
Seen here for the FIRST time, we're getting a glimpse at both cars during development. So far no word on when these are expected to debut at an auto show near you.
