The upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been making waves in the news in recent weeks.
More of the vehicle is becoming unwrapped and Mercedes itself has detailed some of the all-new, groundbreaking technology set to debut in the three-pointed star's latest and greatest.
As many critics have pointed out, the S-Class is always an important vehicle to follow just from a technological standpoint.
But I think that this S-Class is one of the most important launches for Mercedes simply because this will help set the bar for the rest of the marque's product lineup. Yes, the S is the brand's flagship, but I believe this vehicle is really the linchpin that sets the tone for everything else to follow.
Now we're seeing some particularly special shots of the vehicle undergoing testing. What makes these shots so important is the amount of detail -- yes, even seen through the camouflage -- being seen for the first time. Take, for example, that widemouth grille and newly shaped headlights and mirrors being captured clearly for the FIRST time.
From where I am sitting it's clear that this product will be a high-tech, LED-laden evolution from the current-gen product on the market.
So, now what? When and where the hell will this thing debut?
