When it comes to the luxury automakers, I think it's safe to say we're now thinking that Audi's golden age has passed. Sure, it's vehicles were the object of affection for many but we're thinking the tide is gradually turning. Like all businesses, it is ruled by its cycles. Audi's is over.

We're excited to see what's next.

One thing that truly baffles me though is why Audi has dragged its feet in getting the Audi Q3 stateside. BMW did the same thing with the X1, but it did beat out the competition in getting a small luxury ute to the market. With Lexus' NX and Mercedes-Benz's GLA bearing down, it's not going to be smooth sailing when the Q3 arrives for the 2015 model year.

In these latest spy shots, the Q3 is seen sporting a bunch of camouflage from the beltline on down. Though I reckon the Q3 just did go through some enhancements that were fairly recent, it appears the four rings may have a bit more touch up work to do. Pretty peculiar given the North American model already appeared at this year's New York Auto Show.
