It was not too long ago that Audi's A3 Concept made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Boasting some sharp lines, it looked like your stereotypical Audi but a bit sleeker and shrunken down.

The A3 Concept featured some pretty cool in-car technology and provided a glimpse into Audi's sub A4 future. Since the A3's debut in the U.S. we haven't seen a sedan variant but we expect this to be the volume seller that will really drive Audis into many more driveways than they already are in.

For whatever reason, most U.S. buyers can't seem to get over the whole hatchback thing -- even though they're willing to splurge on sport utility vehicles that are, essentially, hatchbacks on stilts. Weird, huh?

Though we're sure buyers will go absolutely APE when this vehicle comes out, I have to say that it doesn't look too much different in these spy photos than say a Volkswagen Jetta.

Its proportions are nearly the same. It's really the little details that will set the A3 sedan apart from its relative.
