An eagle eyed reader of another publication snapped one shot that will go down in history.

Well, not BIG automotive history but it's a happening and history nonetheless.

In Croatia a gentleman by the name of Luka C. took a photo of not one or two, but three, all-new Audi Q7s in a convoy.

It's pretty clear that these Q7s are covered head-to-toe, which is surprising. Usually this late into the game the automaker starts peeling back the clothing. Not the case this time around.

Could it be due to Audi's top brass pushing back this vehicle's debut and junking previous designs after initial development started? Who knows. Now we can at least see the taillights and get a better look at the vehicle's rear valence.

Although the next-gen Q7 is supposed to get lighter, it's clear that it won't be a small SUV.
