One vehicle we've been waiting on is the all-new Lexus LS. That's because ever since its introduction, it's been a BIG deal. There's just one problem, however.

What we're expecting and what may get delivered may be polar opposites. See, this isn't typically a huge deal but when we're not the only ones hoping for something more slinky and drastic then we've got an issue.

You see, the LF-FC concept that Lexus has been taking around looks very, very good. It has presence and a very strong design. Although many deride the new Lexus front grille, it is something that gets attention and if you need further proof just go to NYC or SoCal and count how many NX and RXs you see.

Here's where the company may be stumbling. In the latest spy shots snapped by Brian Williams' crew, it looks rather staid. Rather safe, to say the least.

We've seen this playbook before and it comes straight from BMW with the 7-Series. According to our dealer contacts it's not doing so well out the gate. After seeing that, why would Toyota's luxury division talk a walk down the same road?

That said, we're a wee bit curious what YOU think: Is Lexus ON TRACK to make the same MISTAKE as BMW did with its all-new 7-Series? Should the LS be more BOLD?
