The other day I was tooling around the web and I made a stop by Volkswagen's USA webpage. Though it seems to have been redesigned with a sleek graphical user interface (GUI), when you make your way to the company's product portfolio, it leaves a bit to desired.

There's just no sex appeal to this marque right now.

You can pretty up the website's GUI all you want but that's not going to hide product that has absolutely no "wow' factor. Perhaps the German automaker known for building "the people's car" will get it's act together and start shipping some more Giugiaro-designed cars.

Though we can't tell if the all-new B8 Passat will be the first to jump start the company's design, we're crossing our fingers. In a new spy clip showing the Passat undergoing development, the car is pretty tidied up with camouflage. The good news is there's a bit of video so you can take a look at the next-gen sedan and wagon.

That said, what do YOU think VW needs to do to its design for it's next-gen fleet? What will drive YOU to the showroom with cash in hand? Let us know in the comments below.
