One company I've been impressed with their latest products is Jaguar Land Rover. Though they're not completely perfect yet, I have to say that if I were in-market to buy a new set of wheels, I'd consider a JLR product.

That wasn't the case oh so long ago. Back in the day its vehicles were also rans in their segment.

So, it's a big deal that Jaguar has decided to attempt to take down the BMW 3-Series, which is the class benchmark. As seen in the latest spy video, the upcoming Jaguar XE is seen working the twisties around the world famous Nürburgring test track.

Not only has the vehicle shed some of its peculiar cladding and camouflage, you can HEAR it is equipped with a supercharged six-cylinder motor that is most likely sourced from the F-Type. Assuming that's the case we're talking more than enough power above the 350 mark in addition to a sweet six sound. Although it probably won't be good enough to tackle the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and the all-new 2015 BMW M3/M4, it will be able to take on cars like the Audi S4, BMW 335i, Infiniti Q50 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

That said, head on over to Sport Auto to see the car making the rounds around the 'Ring.
