Mercedes-Benz's AMG department is cooking up an all-new dish. That would be the AMG GT Roadster.

To be called the Mercedes-AMG GT C, expect it to pick up where the SLS AMG left off. In other words it will have a long hood, tiny cockpit and a short trunklid. Oh, and it'll be fast.

Here's the thing, however. It's going to drive 10 times better. That's because the AMG GT is a more nimble and capable driver. The SLS AMG, in comparison, feels a bit pig-ish.

That means the Jaguar F-Type and Audi R8 Spyder should be on the lookout. A new offering is coming to take a bite of their market share.

That said, what do you make of the GT C as it works its way around the Nürburgring?

The Mercedes-AMG GT will come also in cabrio next year. This is the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT C that is testing on the Nurburgring yesterday. It has a 4.0 liter V8 engine what produce 462HP and the S-version will have 510HP.
