Tonight on AutoSpies it's a good night to be a Porschephile.
First we show you the all-new Turbo, then the 918 and now the piece de resistance -- in my humble opinion -- the upcoming GT3.
While there's much fanfare over the Turbo and tons of gawking for the 918, I think the standard Carreras and GT3s are the real superheros from Stuttgart. The rear-wheel drive, purity of a Porsche is hard to really combat.
For one spy this week it clearly was a matter of being at the right place at the right time as they were able to capture a convoy of GT3s that were not disguised.
In addition, note how each of the vehicles back up from a rest. They don't seem to be revving much -- if at all -- from idle, which leads me to believe that all three of these vehicles are sporting PDK transmissions. This has to concern some three-pedal loving, want to be future GT3 owners.
Hopefully we'll have an answer regarding the GT3 and the standard gearbox's fate soon!
