Hermann Salenbauch, FoMoCo’s director of advanced product creation and global performance, said earlier last month that Ford is considering bringing the 2009 Ford Focus RS to the stateside.

He said that the decision to sell the Focus RS in the U.S. depends on enthusiasts such as Focus SVT owners. According to our poll, the majority of you would love to buy the Focus RS.

However, some lucky Focus RS fan (or some Ford employee) in Royal Oak, MI. already has one.

Forum member Justin over at FocusFinatics spotted this Frost White 2009 Ford Focus hanging out on the side of some road in Royal Oak and was nice enough to take pictures

Why wait, just bring it over! I would put in a serious thought to going back to Ford since my 1984 Ford Escort. My first $250 car 11 years ago.

I've always liked the new European Focus, and the new Fusion is a really good update. So drop this on us and you may have a non SVT owner interested in a purchase.

Why has it taken so long to bring the "RS" to the states in the first place? STI's and EVOs have been here forever. Ford (and every other American Brand) is Clueless when it comes to the American Market. This may be too late, but not too little.
