Definately not a beauty and doesn't that engine make 500 hp?

i can't imagine that the market for this would be too big. i don't know if all the money invested in making this car was worth the trouble.

If Mercedes made the E55 Wagon, and Dodge made a Magnum SRT-8, then I guess there must be a market for high performance station wagons.

Am I the only one who thinks this car looks okay?
(Just ok. Not great, just ok).

completely pointless to make a touring M5. M5 is a sport s sedan not a sports wagon. There would be no point for this because a buyer of a wagon obviously would not need the V10 power. The 550i would be good enough.

hmm and now that I think of it, an M5 wagon would exactly be the safest vehicle to transport young children in.
500 hp rocket+childern+crazy driver=whiplash

Europeans love their sports wagon. The extra quick Audi RS6 plus (+30 hp to 480) came in wagon only. Not only do you get lots of room but it is much more rewording to pwn posers in their 911s (or whatever)in a station wagon.

I like BMWs and I like wagons but this would not be on my favorites list. The S6 Avant is at the top.

The S6 which we don't get here looks great. The A6 Avant (wagon) is yet another great looking wagon.

Not the most beautiful car by any stretch, but what wagon is?

At the very least I think everyone can say that the last generation Lexus IS wagon still holds the title of ugliest duckling.

The VW Passat Wagon (Variant) has excellent design, better than the sedan version.

MDalle, I was saying that the VW Passat Wagon (Variant) looks better (generally) than the VW Passat Sedan.

Someone (Will) is a little jealous....

Lets just think for a moment: Imagine a Lexus GS Estate.

THAT would look hideous. It would be like a bloated bus.

BMW made a M5 touring in the 90's europe only. Just to inform new people on autospies this site is home to the many jealous BMW haters, followed by the jealous Benz haters.

500 hp not 400. the only reason why i would drive this is to see the look on the face of that porshe driver when i blow pass him with my station wagon.

Umm Someone tell me something. For a BMW to have the M Symbol usually the quarter panel of the car has the distinctive M Marking. Those Spy Photos are most definitely Lacking that M Signature. Therefore I Say, Its Bogus, its not a M5 Wagon. However if it was, it would make 500hp with M engaged, 400hp without.
