When Zagato turns out something that looks like the Aston Marin V12 Zagato, you have to rejoice.

The proportions were just right and it had an attitude about it. Not to mention it was based on one of the nicest styled vehicles, ever, the V12 Vantage.

But Zagato has also had its fair share of questionable designs. Take one look at the Bentley Continental GTZ and you'll see what I am talking about.

To celebrate Aston Martin's 100 year anniversary the storied British marque has done a variety of things and the latest are two one-off vehicles: the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial and the DBS Zagato Centennial.

And they're certainly interesting...

Sporting a large-mouthed grille and some free flowing headlights it makes for an interesting look. The DBS variant features that very Zagato-specific double-bubble roof and rear windscreen.

Problem is I am a bit undecided in how this all comes together. It looks a bit...

Well, I'll just let you decide and voice it in the comments below...

Here is the only 1/1 in the world Aston Martin DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial, designed by Zagato, specifically to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Aston Martin, which is where I saw this car. This car is owned by American collector, Peter Read!

Here's a one-off 1/1 Aston Martin DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial that I saw at a 100 year Aston Martin centenary event in London! This car was designed to celebrate the 100 year history of Aston Martin. This one-off model has been sold to a Japanese businessman.
