Looked halfway decent until I saw the tail lights and rear end... F U G L Y!

Tail lights look like the present model minus the clear covers. The car looks more solid than the present one. I might trade in my '04 for a new one, come 2009. FWD + turbo = lots of smiles. Whoosh.

I'm the General Manager for a Saab Dealership in Houston and as of 2008 (when this model comes out). All wheel drive will be optional and that is FACT!!

They have really got to do something about that thick outline around the taillights. It looks like something you'd draw in grade school, making sure to have the outline be the most prominent feature.

Looks very striking, much more SAAB-like than before.

What's a SAAB without controversy anyway? The current 9-3, that's what.

The revised 9-3 looks fantastic and adds just the right amount of styling aggression to an already solid car.

Too bad the interior seems to have remained unchanged from the upgrade it got a few months ago, however. I was hoping for an almost all-new interior to go with the substantially updated exterior. However, if that money saved goes towards a fire-breathing, 320BHP turbo version, then so be it.

The rear lights may not suit everyone, but they are modern and I think they look rather dashing.

Props to SAAB on this car.

However my reservations lie with the size of that wind deflector...

...At least no-one can say it won't be effective...

That color is just horrid. It ruins the car from my point of view.

Taking the design in, though, it's attractive- but "beautiful?" No, not really. In the right color, it could be about as nice as the C70, but can't keep up with an A4 S-Line Cabrio or E93 in terms of looks.

But S4cab,

That's the colour that will replace the current acid yellow, and SAAB enthusiasts love that this 'new' colour is returning:

It has history (pic):

Even so, it just doesn't work on this car. It's the same color as a school bus.

I like the new front facias on the Saabs. The rear-end is another story. Overall, Saab is coming alone well design-wise, but an AWD version would be nice.

Get rid of the clear taillights and this ain't bad at all.

The front and rear overhangs are still a little too long for me. A bigger wheel option would solve that I bet.
