Saturn Aura wagon and coupe renderings
Now that Opel’s all-new Insignia sedan is out in the open the next new models to look forward to from GM’s Euro division is likely to be a new wagon variant as well as a possible coupe flagship.

Opel has sold wagon versions of the previous Vectra (the model the Insignia replaces) for a number of generations so the chances of the new five-door hatchback are high but as for the coupe the only indications that such a model will be produced was the unveiling of the GTC coupe concept at last year’s Geneva Motor Show.

Looks like they are trying to compete with Audi -- no comparison however. I hate 4-bolt wheels. 5-spoke wheels should have 5 bolts. Nice job cleaning up the tail lights. Previous tail lights looked el-cheapo with all that clear plastic.

Which pic shows 4 lugs? I see only one of the sedan where you can see any lugs, and there are actually 5.

I'll agree with your comment on the Audi look a like. It isn't as nice as an Audi, but if this is offered for ~$25k well equiped, it won't matter much. With fuel costs sky rocketing as of late, I like to think the family wagon will make a come back.

It looks really nice. And considering the Insignia will be the next Saturn Aura, GM may have another hit(s). The wagon looks sporty which will diffuse the old-school perception a bit (a la Magnum). The design is not too "busy" and should attract many consumers who want SUV utility & car fuel consumption within a sporty package.

Anyone else notice that the tag says Opel Insignia, but the logo is for Vauxhal. I know they are just like Saturn, copies, but they could at least get it right.

If the wagon is as efficient as the civic I will get one providing it has 5 star crash ratings.Looks great!
