Schumacher Takes VIPs for a Spin in F430 Scuderia
Having the chance to perform a few laps on the Fiorano race track with a Ferrari is one thing, but to do it with Michael Schumacher sitting behind the steering wheel of a F430 Scuderia is a once in a lifetime experience. From what we learned, this special event was organized exclusively for VIP Ferrari customers (sources of ours said that the admission price was around €8,000 or $12,500). We must say though that it’s kind of sad to see one of the best drivers in F1’s history downgraded to taking wealthy middle-aged men for joy rides…

I don't agree with that statement. I think is great that Schumacher is kind enough to offer this kind of experience to car enthusiasts. Sign me up.

I agree. He's just giving back to the fans that is all. Not like he really needs anymore money but he's paying homage to the team that got him wealthy and the sport of racing for that matter.

If this wasn't about money, why is he taking so much of it... Schumacher isn't Robin Hood is he?

Robin Hood, the guy that robbed the tax collector to return the tax to the people? I don't think even Schumacher has managed to do this much good!

Schumacher is set for life, i doubt he does it for the money as such, but offcourse he gets paid. Most people would kill to get a drive in that car with schummi in control, i know i would. He just is a great part of the whole Ferrari mythology, and im quite sure he will be a part of it for many years to come, eventually ending up as F1 chief.

This is cool, but I rather see him pull another gas station stunt like he did a few years back:
