Scion, after having a promising start back in 2004, is currently facing a downturn in sales with 12.
5 percent sales decrease last year with only 113,900 vehicles sold compared with 2007. The prospect is not encouraging with forecasts saying that the sales decrease will continue in this current year.
The blame is placed at the doorsteps of a weakened market, although the insignificant changes in the main variants, the redesigned xB and xD compared to the entry level xB and xA, and the mild changes the tC coupe has received, may also account for the dwindling interest.
