The late-model Mustang goes sideways at speed -- tires screeching and smoking.

There's a teenager behind the wheel.

But the teen isn't making the car do that. It's an instructor trying to teach the teen control.

It's part of "Driving Skills For Life," a free event sponsored by Ford.

"We will be totally fine", instructor Matt Robertson tells his carload of three young drivers. "Unless you do the one thing that makes the car flip over."

Robertson is kidding. The teens, some as young as 15 and possessing only learner's permits, aren't sure whether to laugh or not.
