Should Danica Patrick Be Considered Racing's Leading Lady?

It is not too often that a race car driver can turn heads like Danica Patrick does.

  Raw beauty and high speed are not often associated with most drivers.

But this month's Sport Illustrated Magazine’s Swimsuit Issue has brought the popular racer back to the forefront in a way her fellow driver can not.

Fast, cool, and sexy she is doing for racing what Maria Sharapova has done with tennis, by adding  glamour, class and sex appeal to a traditionally testosterone driven sport.

If this is what the softer side of racing is all about, then the Spies will gladly give her our vote.

I know people who would make the same statement, however, I think that "She's fat" is an inaccurate description.

Her waist to hip ratio is probably too high, which studies show has more significant impact on male to female attraction than does weight.

Interestingly, anorexic women mistake this hip-to-waist ratio for weight problems. However, by losing weight to an unhealthy extent they exacerbate the problem by making this ratio larger. So, they are incapable to feeling attractive.

He does not mean that this friends like little boys. Often women who are thin have de-feminized bodies.

Take it as you will, but more than one person has stated that female models have the bodies of 15-year-old boys.

I'm not saying anything about its validity; just putting it out there.

The most attractive female in a major motor sport? Possibly (although you don't wanna see her without makeup- I have). But can she win? NO! Three full seasons, and she has won nothing. She should not be "racing's leading lady" unless she can prove that she's a winning driver. She can model if she wants to, but she should get her sweet little rear off the track!

Its all about the money. Of course she will try to win, but has failed to do so. Since she is obviously a cutie then why not make $$$ on her looks since there is no way she would be nearly as popular if she was a he.

If anything, she's auto racing's whore. She has NEVER WON A RACE. And they don't even refer to her by her CORRECT name, which is Mrs. Hospenthal, a/k/a Mrs. Winless. Since she's oh-for-47 in auto races, she's decided to draw attention by taking off her clothes and turning the IRL auto racing scene into a peep show. Disgraceful. Oh, and those references to her "winning" the IRL "2005 Rookie Of The Year" Award? To WIN that award, she beat out exactly TWO people!
