Looks alright there, but looks a lot better in black.

agree X5 makes much more sense and looks better. X6 is ugly especially front end. I don't know why BMW chose the Cayenneishh face (big fat fog lights/air inlets) instead of their X5's stylish front end for the X6.

but it does look little better in darker colors.

If you look at it closely, it looks 'smooshed' like it was banged down with a cinder block. I think this is most pronounced at the front end of the hood by the head lights. The hatch/spoiler also looks 'smooshed'.

Its like the door glass and roof are a size too small versus the rest of the under body. Does anybody agree?

I can't afford it, but this car gives me randy pants.

At least it makes a statement, right?

Looks much better in all black. I kinda like it but at the same time I don't. I am not a bmw fan anymore but I do give them kudos for being willing to try someting new.

Definitely too much "booty in tha pants". Took a page right out of the J Lo handbook, when she wore white pants at that one awards ceremony.

I guess wearing black does give the impression of a slimmer image, because the X6 looks worlds better in black.

I love the overstated rear. I wish the front were a little higher. The front side shots looks every awkward in these pics.

I spoke to a dealer ni Connecticut and he's already taking deposits. Could hit the streets as early as May/June in the Northeast.

It's hit or miss with the looks. If the XDrive50 is priced below the 4.8 X5 it could sell well because its going to be a blast to drive!

The X6 35i might even be priced above the X5 4.8i.

the X6 twin turbo V8 is not going to be priced under the X5 naturally aspirated V8. Aside from the fact that the X6 is a higher model it also comes standard with a bunch of things that are optional on the X5 (nav is standard on the X6 50i, and the smallest wheel on any X6 is a 19"), offers things you can't even get on the X5 (leather wrapped dash), and the engines one up the X5's.

It will be more. The question is, how much more?

And I assume the X5 will be getting the N54 engine, correct? It may not get the twin-turbo 4.4L, though.

I'm guessing the X6 35i will start at around $60K, and the 50i will be ~$70K. This is a Cayenne S/Turbo and Range Rover Supercharged competitor.

I can't wait to see it on Sunday at the auto show, and I'm definitely considering it for myself. I'm actually planning on keeping the S4 and getting a sedan (or an X6) for the two other seasons.

The BMW X6 Xdrive35i complete with a QRD35 Xstyle, Xlamp technology, Wide Xrear and Sculpted Xfender flarings.

I think that is too much nomenclature for a car. but X6ix would look pretty retarded on the back. But again its the Xdrive35i so with all these X's its like playing a game of tic tac to. Now M/B just needs to come out with 0drive and enhanced 0steering and we have a game!

Nobody throws more S**T against the wall to see what sticks than BMW and Mercedes.I think this will sell even though its cramped in the back.People like to drive something different than everybody else. Its modern enough to get that done.I'm sure it drives well too.Aimed at a younger crowd it will do well.I like the back alot, looks like a sedan married an SUV.,but it works.

Great find!

There is a much, much better-looking X6 halfway down this page:

The tall hatchback looks right at home at the mall. Sorry, I mean SAV.

The lower front actually reminds me of the last CR-V and Mitsu Endeavor.

The X3 looks like a shoe (no offense), the X6 is a dressed up Aztek. Those wheels are perfect on the X5 though.
