Sneak Peek: 2008 Nissan Rogue
Nissan gives us a quick preview of the upcoming Rogue crossover vehicle, which is set to compete with smaller SUV’s such as the redesigned Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CR-V. Dubbed the baby Murano, there are no official details as of yet for the Rogue but new information tells us that the new Rogue will replace the Nissan X-Trail sold in Canada.

It will official unveil and debut at the NAIAS on January 7, which also happens to be the unveil date of the new Mazda Tribute, or the CX-5. Read the article for additional images.

Just like the murano I dont think the pictures does it any justice.Hopefully when the vehicle arrive in mid or late summer we will be more optimistic to call it a baby murano.

The X-trail is only sold currently in Canada but with the Rogue vehicle, it will be marketed both for U.S. and Canada.

Why Nissan, why? Why do they see the need for another suv?
Now your choices will be: Tiny, slightly larger, slightly larger than previous, small, smallish medium... See where I'm going with this?

I wish Nissan would dump the CVT in favor of conventional automatic transmissions. Nissan should also get rid of the grille shown on this vehicle as well as on the Maxima and Altima. The Infinity G35 grille should become the Nissan corporate grille.
