Some creative reader needs to do an automotive version of this Hillary/Obama Apple 1984 commercial spoof
I would love to see one of our readers do an auto version of this!
I wonder who big brother should be if it was done with an auto theme?
Would it be a company or a person?
Chime in with your opinion...

The creative brief should go something like this:
Replace Hillary with BMW and put an L on the sledge hammer and well you get the idea.
Oh man im going to take some heat for this one.

For the Dems it will be Gore/Obama, but I think his TV commercial is way too radical even for the Dems.
I'll bet a dollar to a K&N this was produced in Hollywood with it's slickness.

From what I understand about 90% of this TV commercial is from the original Apple commercial and at the end you can see the Rainbow flag "O" instead of the Apple logo and therfore I'm thinking Steve Jobs the man behind Apple and the US Festival which I attended and saw my old buddies Van Halen must be throwing his support behind Obama, because he had to give those that made the TV commercial permission to use the copyrighted footage.
I'm votin' for Obama, don't tell mama.

Seeing your comments on race and politics is as ridiculous as hearing Ann Coulter commenting on pop culture...

This is easy for this website:
Big brother would be a 45 year old Asian man screaming: "You rike Rexus. Rexus LS is best car ever!. It better than Rolls-Royce! You know nothing!"
I was trying to be phonetic: no offense it meant to anyone. If you feel the need for retribution, you are feel free to make fun of me for whatever you deem to be necessary.

...and to be sure there are plenty of things I can be made fun of for....like not being able to form a coherent sentence for instance.

It's a shame that neither one of you can understand how to form a complete, coherent sentence. Let alone one that doesn't mock or insult anyone.

Will, if you can honestly go back to all of my posts and with full rationality think that all I do is insult people, then you are fully welcome to maintain you view. If not I suggest you perform some form of introspection to determine the impetus of such behavior.
You are fully entitled, as well, to think whatever you like about my lexicon: I do realize that my usage is generally archaic. Be that as it may, all evidence in this matter is to my benefit. I won't be more specific simply because on here, being more specific in instances such as these, necessitates that someone call me "condescending" or an "@sshole".

My comment wasn't so much an attack on you as it was an attack on the far more ridiculous comments that RICEMASTER has made in my experience here on this site. I don't care if you make fun of Lexus, I make fun of plenty of brands from Europe.
"Be that as it may, all evidence in this matter is to my benefit."
A bit condescending, but whatever...

Will, it was not meant as condescending. Simply put: you are unaware of particular facts by virtue of the fact that you do not know me personally. I have many interests and as such I have a history in a fair number of things.

I understand that about myself. I describe the manner in which I speak as archaic, but feel no need to change it. Terminology like "as such" and "as it were" are considered superfluous anymore. I do write on here as I would speak to a person. Now, were I to be writing a technical paper or essay, that would not be the case.
I honestly don't know the source of it, it may be that it is the result of my family or perhaps the school system I grew up in. I went to a public school in a small town. The interesting thing about Colorado, however, is that all control is vested in the local school board which is composed primarily of parents. Every parent there though, thinks their child is of exceptional intelligence and so the result is a very odd and advanced curriculum. No grade inflation was practiced and anything below a 70% was an F. I only say this because one of the programs that I feel was relatively advanced was the literature program. A lot of classical literature was required; everything from common authors like Dickens and Conrad to Proust and Solzhenitsyn. That may be were some of the oddities in my language originate. I honestly don't know.

An example if you would like: the Iliad and the Odyssey were required reading in 6th grade.
I think one of the greatest services a parent can do for their children is to raise them in a small town. I would not trade my childhood for the world.

...and as you can see I am no saint when it comes to puctuation usage, grammar or typing skills.

Okay, I may be a Democrat, but that was unnecessary. You were doing exactly what was said NOT to do.
