Spied: BMW 3-series coupe interior
The spy photographers who snapped some revealing exterior shots of the 2007 BMW 3-Series Coupe also got a look inside the car. Overall, it's quite similar to the 2006 3-Series sedan, but there are a few minor changes. For the first time, we get to see how the new 3-Series interior translates into a two door car, thanks to the revealing shots of the rear seats.

If I bought one, make mine minus the iDrive and give me the M-Tuned version....making it a proper BMW Coupe

Byung_USA, have you ever even used the iDrive. I probably wouldn't order it either...but isn't that hard. Most people that gripe about it, have never tryed it. And I would guess it will be optional, like on the sedan.

Obviously not content with taking almost iconic exterior styling and turning the marque into the butt of humour - look at Dame Edna Everage then the 5 series - Edna - 5 Series! See! That's their styling cue. They are like a dog with a bone with that I-Drive idea too. Have you tried it? Believe me, it is awful. Bimmer interiors have never been inspiring and this proves no different. ePhilly, you've been sold a bad joint!

Looks cheap, which is bad for an expensive car.

definately has got to go. BMW's wood on the 3-Series has always looked cheap. I had a 97' 328i which was an awesome car, but it had like 3 pieces of wood in it that I began to hate. I had them removed and had brushed aluminium put in instead. I agree with the other people here and will say BMW has always had cheapish interiors. I remember on mine the weird lil spot on the passenger side that looked like an airbag was supposed to come out of it, but was really nothing, just this weird piece of plastic (above the glove box) Since this is the coupe, they need to lose the wood, put in aluminum or some body color pieces or that piano black finished stuff...

I don't know about you guys but I'm in love with this interior. It looks good. The wood should be another color though. It looks a bit tacky. However, with brush aluminum trim or that carbon fibre trim would look sweet. Two thumbs up for the design. The backseat looks real crammed up but it's a coupe! who cares you'll just be carrying one front passenger and that's good enough. It's no full size luxury sedan.

I love the BMW Brand since i was a kid. I currently have a 2005 E46 M3 and i think it will be my last BMW. I don't like how all the new BMW (all the new series) interiors are looking. I think i can learn to appreciate the exterior but i hate the interior. My next car or SUV will be a Porsche.
