It is not really a driving event...it's a "tasting" event.

IS350 and the GS Hybrid are also fun to drive. The LS is fun to ride in.

My work car, the LS is not a fun ride but a comfortable ride. It's the perfect oldman's boat. I'm only 25 so don't get the wrong idea. It's the best LS to date.

Thanks I'll check it out. Funny, the one in Chicago was where GM used to have their test drive functions. It was actually pretty cool, I don't know why they stopped having them.

Whoever goes there should make sure to drink some coffee or energy drinks before driving. We all know how boring these cars are. Make sure you don't fall asleep....

If you love driving milquetoast vehicles with absolutely no driving dynamics whatsoever, other than severe body roll, this event is for you!

Plus who wants to hang around these douchebags who think that Lexus is the greatest thing since Jesus Christ walked the earth?

You know, Buick used to do similar events. But who cares? Lexus is a Japanese Buick if ever there were one. And by "Buick" I mean "big, boring, derivative, dull." Lexus is the glitz-mobile, johnny-come-lately brand. It's the car that people who live in gated communities lust after. Only God knows why.

I don't know why Lexus gets such a bad rap here... the IS is a plenty good car. Try driving one before you judge.

It's much easier for them to armchair quarterback, then to actually go out and do the research. But just look at any BMW/MB sneak preview post and all of their responses will be "Man, this thing is gonna be AWESOME!!"
