It was about this time last week when we kicked off the very FIRST shots coming to you live from the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Though technically, we did start submitting the first shots from the auto show two days early.

This year we covered the event pretty furiously and if it weren't for the likes of the debuts of the all-new, 2014 Lexus IS, Chevrolet Corvette, Audi RS7, BMW 4-Series Coupe Concept and some the out of this world concepts, like the Nissan Resonance, it wouldn't have been so exciting.
Though we miss the days of the zany concept cars that are way ahead of their time, to me there is something nice about automakers pursuing efforts that to some extent have their feet on the ground. In other words, their concepts will have some sort of implementation in the near future, whether it's a design study or an all-new idea using next-generation, in-car technology.
That said, we've compiled the BEST shots that were snapped of what is arguably the MOST important auto show in North America.
