If we look closely at the pictures we can easily see the quad exhausts and you know what this means: S version of the TT will soon arrive! The car has integrated LED daytime running lights. For the moment we do not know exactly what engine will power the TTS: could be the S3 engnine that delivers 261 bhp or the new 2.0 liter turbocharged engine capable of 295 bhp. According to CarMagazine the car will be presented in 2008 at the Geneva Motor Show. Read Article

HOT! It's easy to tell that this is an "S" car-- they have quad exhausts.

I continue to be impressed by the new TT, much more than the old one.

Why was I de-boosted? Somebody absolutely hates every single one of my opinions, no matter what I say.

Why do you care?

Just Curious...

It's certainly a great vehicle, but sadly...

I don't believe that many buyers really care.

funny they mentioned a new 2.0t with 295hp, our new Technical Field Manager for our region of Audi dealers mentioned they where working on a new 2.0t with about 300hp, supposedly chain driven. He used to work in the testing center in Arizona.

I think you all will be very pleased when this car is announced. Look for 300hp, Lots of torque with Quattro AWD and probably both manual and DSG versions. Pick your poisen.

These cars already drive very very well both on and off the track. Even the little 2.0T FWD version can mix it up with cars costing thousands more.

Making the 2.0T produce 300 hp and offering it with Quattro AWD will make many a weekend warrior very happy on any given Sunday.

Ah... this will be serious competition for the Boxster S and Cayman S models.

I love the new Audi TT-S, and perhaps it will give the Boxster/Cayman S a run for the money.

...but it won't even come close to touching the rumored Cayman RS. Not only is the Cayman the best-balanced car this side of the Ferrari F430, but by lowering the weight and increasing power to aboud 340hp, it should run the Nurburgring faster than any non-turbo 911. Man, I love German sports cars!

The Cayman RS (if it comes out) would probably be around $85K... maybe more. That's a bit much for it to be a TT-S competitor, so I wouldn't expect the Audi to be able to hang with it in the first place.

Expect the TT-S Coupe to sticker at around $50K--right where the M Coupé and Cayman (non-S) are.

I was always a supporter of the fact that performance comparisons should not mention price.
