I saw a bunch of camo on it. All you can really seeis a basic shape. Which we saw in much clearer pics earlier this week.

Interesting, still too much camo on it to give a proper opinion but it definitely has that coupe roof line. Will probably need big rims to get the proportions right though, like all modern BMW's.

With all of the companies following BMW's style direction, I would fully expect to see emulations of this product from other luxury makers within three or four years.

Why did they build this thing?
Do the designers have too much time on their hands?
Looks like to me that it's BMW's answer to the Pontiac Aztec.

"Without camouflage"? What do you call that duct tape? Racing stripes?

Its OK I guess. I agree with you guys, its like they blended an X5 into some kind of coupe/hatchback form. It looks a bit weird but I guess this is their answer to the MB R class, which also doesn't know if its a truck or minivan. Yeah I think these guys are either thinking too hard or have just run out of ideas altogether.

Oooo, and Aztec.

What an abomination.
Why would you want the driving disadvantages of an SUV (An X5 handles well but nothing like a 5 series) plus the impracticalities of that rear roof line?

Aztec

Has that horrid minivan-esq styling that the new rear end of the X5 was given.

It looks more like a bloated wagon than the X3...what's the point of this vehicle?

I will agree with all who say that Pontiac did this first with the Aztek but BMW pulled it off better...

The tape treatment has given the car an Aztec appearance. Look beyond the very minor camo and I see the shape of the FX35/45. I cant give an opinion yet. This one will have to grow on me.

No no no.... this is hideous. Even disguised still you can see it is going to be an oddball. I think the current FX still will look better than this and it is old now. I am not sure what BMW is trying to go for. Not sure why BMW feels the need to compete in every niche.
