Strike may force GM to stop Chevrolet Malibu production
GM may have to halt production by mid-April of the Chevrolet Malibu if UAW doesn’t end its strike against supplier American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc. According to Mike Dunn, shop chairman of UAW Local 5960, American Axle supplies a knuckle used in the rear suspension of the Malibu and Pontiac G6.

Stuff travels word of mouth pretty fast so I hope that they can fix the issue with the parts manufacturer. Once the buying public figures out that they cant get what they want when they want it then they will stop buying it.

Toyotapower, thats funny...NOT!
Maybe they have a good reason for striking but I doubt it. This always happens every time it looks like a big business with unions start to get on there feet. The greedy damn unions have to make up some bullsh%$$# reason to strike. Basically they are black mailing GM. Typical greed by people who could care less about there workers, about America and about there company.

what a shame! the malibu is actually one of gm's best cars, and now they might not even be able to make them? plus, the new malibu's styling is worlds better than the old one, but i still think the new ones' grille is too big

Overall I would say yes but mainly because of there great past but the Malibu is a great car for the type it is and I think it challenges other cars like it in its class.
