Most young people in Germany want to have their own car, according to a study carried out by TNS Infratest, a renowned institute for market and opinion research in Germany.

In the study, 1,000 men and women aged 18 or over were asked about their attitudes to cars. For 80 % of 18 to 29-year-olds, owning their first car is “something really special.” Two out of three respondents in this age group said that it was important to them to have a car of their own. The percentage was even higher among respondents in their mid-30s.
