While it’s only known for its tiny cars, motorcycles and its compact SUVs, Suzuki is now getting serious about larger cars and will be taking on Toyota’s Camry and Honda’s Accord as early as next year. According to CARandDRIVER, the Suzuki Kizashi 3 concept based mid-size sedan will arrive in late 2009 as a 2010 model year.

The production model won’t be a rebadged Daweoo and will be produced at Suzuki’s new factory that is currently under construction in Sagara, Japan.

For the entry-level version of the production Kizashi 3, power is expected to come from a 2.5 liter inline 4-cylinder engine while the range-topper will carry a...

I would like to see this in a coupe and possibly a convertible. THey would need to work on quality. The only really good thing to come out of suzuki recently is the Busa.

Suzuki's hayabusa took the honors back from Kawasaki's Ninja 1300 as the fastest production bike (exception of the turbine powered one).

Suzuki's Katana was my favorite w/electric windshield!

The ninja was a 1400cc bike. The busa a 1300cc bike did take the thrown back.

Agreed, aeyjay.
It does appear that Suzuki has source more than just the 3.6L V6 (non-DI) from GM. Hopefully the production car will look just as nice as the concept photos.

yep, it does have similarities w/Audi's grill but its only a concept car for now.

I love Suzuki's killer powered motorcycles but unsure about their car lines.

I understand they are the fastest growing but, I'ld stick with Honda Accord as the best in this category by a mile.

Yup S4, nice Audi grill. I also noticed that the XF in yestertday's post had the GS roofline, which you forgot to mention.

Not to worry...the production car will hardly resemble this...Suzuki is the master of bait and switch and spin..EVERY new model is preceeded by a hot "concept" car that gets watered down with the production version. If the Japanes execs in charge at Suzuki can find a way to screw it up, they will.
