The Indian car company that owns Jaguar and Land Rover, Tata, has decided to pay for the Ferrari F1 team from next season. Ferrari chief Luca di Montezemolo said “For the first time an Indian brand will appear on a Ferrari.” There’s still no official info on how much funds the Indian firm will put in Ferrari. The news comes as Jaguar and Land Rover, both owned by Tata, continues to influence the UK government for a £1 billion tax-payer aid.
