At the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, Tesla announced that it will start the Model S electric sedan deliveries in the second quarter of 2012. As you may know already, the company already announced that more then 3,000 people made a reservation for their Model S in North America and Europe. The car’s base price is expected to be around $49,000. Announced back in June 2008, the Tesla Model S follows the successful Roadster and Roadster Sport.
