Tesla wants to convince its customers that going for the Autopilot feature is a good idea ,by offering it as a 30-day trial through an update.
Even though the Autopilot option was introduced last year along with the 7.0 firmware update that was available on every Tesla made since late 2014, some customers chose did not install the autonomous tech for different reasons.
