"If you build it, they will come."

And come, they did.

There isn't a more appropriate quote that can be applied to the all-new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat models. According to reports, FCA has been overwhelmed with the amount of consumer interest in the high horsepower vehicles.

Making matters worse was a recent issue with dealers using what's being described as unscrupulous business practices by not properly informing potential customers that their Hellcat order may NEVER be fulfilled. While demand is high, supply is super low.

This means one of two things will happen from this point: either FCA will ramp up production on these motors so everyone that wants one can get a Hellcat in their driveway OR it will keep production limited and keep the frenzy going.

So far the lid on this candy jar has been kept air tight.

Personally, while I'd love to see everyone with a check get an all-new Hellcat, it may be nice to see FCA decide to keep supply extremely limited.
